How renting works
- Walk into the Grid and walk up to a door: it says whether the space is free.
- Pick a term and pay — the price shown is the price you pay, in your currency.
- Fit it out from the manage page: your name, colours, screens, furniture, products and hours. A new shop opens to visitors when you set it live.
Want to show your brand without a shop? Advertise on the Galleria’s billboards.
Questions people ask
- What can I rent in the Grid?
- Shops in the Galleria, the Orbit and Park Row, storefronts in the towers, ferry terminal shops, Quay Market kiosks and Night Market stalls; offices for your team; and homes — apartments, lofts and penthouses. UniverseT students can rent in the student tower.
- How long can I rent for?
- Shops, kiosks and stalls by the week, the month, three months or the year; homes and offices by the month, the quarter or the year. Renew whenever you like.
- What do I get?
- A shop is yours to fit out: its name, windows, walls, floor, screens (a web page, a video or pictures), furniture, products and opening hours. A home or office is private — only you, your team or the people you invite can go in.
- Who can rent?
- Anyone with a free account — a creative, a client or a Grid explorer. Every new account is checked by a person first.
- What does it cost?
- Each kind of space has its own price, listed here as a starting price in US dollars. The rent page shows the exact price for your country, in your currency, before you pay.
