The Aether
The Aether is the Grid’s radio, podcast and streamer hub, on the corner of Columbus Bayfront and Dahab Coast Road. Above ground stands a small Art Deco pavilion with a marquee wrapped round it, two red AETHER blade signs and a radio mast; escalators take you down to the Concourse, where the Live Wall shows the most-watched live streams on Twitch, YouTube and Kick right now — pick one and watch it from the bleachers.
Grid Radio broadcasts live from the glass studio on the Concourse: listen anywhere in the Grid, call in to a show, or apply to host your own. Two floors down, four Round Rooms are made for podcasts — ten seats round a table, five on camera, a camera that turns to whoever talks, and a recording to take away. The Grid’s Radio app also plays radio stations from all over the world.
